Stanground is a suburb of Peterborough, a city in the county of Cambridgeshire in the East of England. Stanground is located to the north of Peterborough city centre, and is predominantly a residential area. It is a relatively new development, with much of the housing having been built in the latter half of the 20th century. Finally, Stanground is a fairly compact area, and many local destinations can be easily reached on foot.
