Our local market – property rentals April

Moving past the Easter holidays and some of us enjoying a little break ourselves we are now seeing the market pick up again. Propertywire reports that there will be a surge in new rentals coming to market after an increase in purchases pre April. Here in Peterborough we are seeing a slight rise in numbers.
Further good news is that more buy-to-let products are coming to market making it easier for people to invest in property. With the new builds we have in the Hampton region there’s always a good selection of homes that will be bought as property investments and we have a group of experienced landlords working with us here at Tortoise. From a tenants’ perspective there is still strong competition for properties as they come to market so it’s always best to make sure you have all the right information for completing application documentation.

This month’s rental successes include:
A large four bedroom detached property on Thorn Road, Hampton Vale renting for £1,300 per month.
A large a three bedroom semi detached home at Albert Crescent, Hampton renting for £725 per month.

A three bedroom detached family home at Wycliffe Grove renting for £800 per month
