Our local market – property rentals September

With the summer holidays over and British summertime still enjoying a much needed boost the holiday mood is still around. Traditionally the markets wake up from their summer slumber but in rentals the market here in Peterborough is constant.
Whether you are moving to a new area for a new job or just fancy making a change then autumn is one of the traditional times to find a new property with either great transport links or a convenient location for jobs, schools and colleges etc.
An article in Propertywire showed that buy to let activity in the UK saw a significant increase during August showing confidence surging back into the market brushing off any post Brexit nerves. The private rental market is set to be around for many years to come as it serves a real purpose in today’s housing market. Buy to let rentals are a long term investment and many landlords now are those that own just one extra property they rent out for additional income or investment, however approximately half of these are expected to go and purchase a second investment property in the future.

This month’s rental successes include:
2 bedroom flat on Harn Road, Hampton, Peterborough renting for £625 per month. This two bedroom flat featured an upgraded bathroom and benefits from overlooking Hampton centre’s playing fields and has good access to the A15.

New properties to market include:
3 bedroom semi-detached refurbished property in Partridge Grove, werrington, Peterborough. The property includes a new bathroom & kitchen. Available for £850 per month.
